The Daredevils finished the Rust Belt Tour this weekend with shows in Erie PA and Youngstown. A couple of quick notes... The Crooked I continues to be a really fun place to play. While it does not have the same intimate feel of the Beer Mug, it is great to have a giant sound system and stage to play on. Hopefully we'll sneak back to the Mug one of these days, but make sure and note that we picked up a few dates with Eddie Spaghetti of the Supersuckers including one next month at the Crooked I. It will be a Wednesday to remember... We had a good time at Cedars, and yes the graffiti from the early 1990s (I saw Ed Masley fuck Greg Miller Outta Hate) is still there. Death By Rodeo opened up and they just keep getting better and better. Luke is playing some great stuff on guitar and the rhythm section has really come together. Thanks to the enthusiastic folks that came out on what may have been the worst weather night of 2011.
In celebration of the greatest public meltdown of our time, the band has created an extremely limited edition run of Whiskey Daredevils/Charlie Sheen Ts. Using a great Charlie Sheen quote from one of his mesmerizing interviews, this is the T of the season. Available in grey or white, these will be here today and gone tomorrow. If you want one, send us $15 via PayPal in our merch area on the site, and we'll mail it to you after we pick them up next week. First come, first served. You better move fast, because that Dude is burning up like a cheap Roman Candle on the 4th.
