The Cowslingers show at the Beachland Dec 30th sold out in advance last weekend. The plan was initially to get together and knock around the old songs in front of 50 friends or so. Clearly there was no real idea of how many people would still be interested. It's really humbling to see this kind of response. It's also a lot more pressure to not suck! As a result, the Cowslingers have actually rehearsed over the last 6 weeks and appear to be ready to not embarrass themselves as long as they stay within the 30+ songs they worked on. A few notes on the evening... 1) The Cowslingers did not play the larger Ballroom as it was not available at the time the show was booked. That's why only 150 or so of you can come. 2) Because of the small room, we can't put you on a guest list because there is no guest list. There wouldn't be anywhere to put you inside the tavern! The tickets are all sold and the room is only so big. 3) The doors will open at 8. The Lords will start at 9. The Cowslingers will start after the Lords are done. 4) We wish everyone that wanted to come could get in. Had we known, we'd have gone in the Ballroom on a different day!
Our favorite local writer Keith Gribbons wrote a nice little preview article in the Scene Magazine. Check it out here: http://www.clevescene.com/cleveland/back-in-the-saddle/Content?oid=1808477
Hope to see you there!

I also saw someone was audio taping it, I would love to get a copy of the show
