The Whiskey Daredevils will make their triumphant return to Ft Wayne this Saturday at the Brass Rail. Now Ft Wayne isn't a place the band has played a zillion times, but every time in has been a good time. After being off for a couple weeks, we're all itching to get back at it. Look for some new songs that have just emerged from the basement including "Bakersfield", "The Girl I Left Behind" and "Cold Dead Leaves". Depending on when Gary gets back from a quick jaunt to Utah, there might even be 3 more... Next Saturday Dec 19th is the annual Rumble Club "Greasemas" show at the Southgate House across the river from Cincy. This is always a great multi band show, although last year may have been overshadowed by the couch wetting incident after the gig. (The Horror...the horror...) If you live anywhere near Cincinnati please make that drive. You'll be glad you did. It's a great night in a terrific venue.
The new CD is out in Europe, and it looks like we'll wait until after the holidays to release it here in the States. Don't worry, "Introducing the Whiskey Daredevils" is well worth the delay. It's the kind of release all of us in the band will be proud to have stolen from us via illegal downloading! ...If you are considering going to The Cowslingers reunion show on Dec 30th, we'd like to once again stress buying your tix in advance. It's a small room, and there's a million people saying they're going to go to the gig. Call the Beachland at 216.383.1124 or hit the website. Also, there will be a VERY limited run of classic Cowslinger black tees with the Tony Primiano original logo and Drink N Drive records back logo. They will be available at the show for $20. If any of you are some crazy size (3XL or XXS for example), let us know NOW and we'll print one for you.
Triumphant Return to Ft. Wayne
