There have been a couple of last minute shows added in Europe thanks to some old friends of ours, so make sure to check the gig list to see if we are coming to your town, or in this case village. We will have Whiskey Daredevils III in hand as it is allegedly being shrinkwrapped at the pressing plant today. For all of you in the States that keep asking, "Hey... Do you have the new one yet?", there is a plan afoot to make an express download available to you as you wait for your CD to ship. There are a few more details to work out, but look for an update in days.
There was a monster writing session yesterday that gave legs to six new songs that have been sitting on the backburner for months. It looks like the sound of a few of these are going to require Sugar to bust out that upright of hers, so for you upright fans, it's coming. How else can you attack jump blues, rockabilly, and truck driving songs? Heck, Sugar even bought a powerful new head to let her hang in there with Gary's big old amps, but then she left it at Hollywood Gardens! Oh well, any excuse to go hang out at that microbrew mecca is a good one. In theory the band will learn these songs at soundchecks over the next few weeks, and by the end of the tour the band will bust out "Little White Pills", "Always", "Tell Her", "She's Kissing You, Thinkin Of Me", and "Cheap and Easy". Also sitting on the sidelines ready to come in are "Tuscaloosa Dagger", "Cinco de Mayo", and "Devil's Grand Marquis".
